Mr. Obeng also worked as a Community Health Specialist with the Fairfax County Health Department and with the Word Partners for Development-USA as a Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist from 2006 to 2009. He has immense experience in different cultural and working settings and a proven ability to utilize culturally competent techniques in all aspects of program implementation.
Mr. Obeng is a member of the Society for International Development in Washington-DC and serving on the Prince William County Public Schools Special Education Advisory Committee.
He earned his Master of Science in Health Systems Management and Masters in Public Health (MPH) in 2006 and 2011 respectively from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. His bachelor’s degree (B.A.) was in International Relations and Sociology in 1998 from University of Science and Technology-Kumasi, Ghana. Mr. Obeng before coming to the US worked as a Research Assistant for the Ghana Commission on Women and Development in Kumasi.
